Description

CoverCradle II Cover Lifter

The second generation of this innovative system, the CoverCradle II features a single pneumatic gas spring that makes covers easy to lift with little manual effort. Requires 600mm clearance on the rear side (opposite controls) except 'Triumph' and 'Jetsetter' Models which open from right to left when standing at the control panel. The guide arms require 80mm clearance each side.

This is a must have accessory for any spa model. Makes cover removal a breeze. Watch the video below for more information.

Has design flaws not really worth best part of NZ$ 1k

Looks good and is well made. It definitely takes the effort out of removing the covers and wouldn't want to be without it. However IMHO it is lacking in support of the upper cover when in the open position. When open, the upper cover slides down towards the ground and all its weight is carried on the stitching of the cover fold. I've only had mine two weeks, so too early to tell the long term effect on the cover stitching, but I'm going to modify my cradle to provide support for the upper cover when open. I also can't see how they justify the price tag.
