1. Promotional offer available for new approved customers only, from Q Mastercard applications received from 12:00am 2 February to 11:59pm 2 March 2026 New Zealand local time (“Offer Period”).
2. There is one (1) prize in total to give away (“Prize Draw”).
3. The entity responsible for this promotion is Columbus Financial Services Limited (“Promoter”).
4. One (1) Prize Draw winner will receive $10,000 deposited into their NZ nominated bank account as verified by the Promoter (“Prize”).
5. To be eligible to redeem the Prize the promo code SPLASH must be entered into the promo field on the first page of the Q Mastercard application.
6. Eligible customers who have applied during the Offer Period using the promo code, been approved, and opened a Q Mastercard account within 45 days of applying, will be entered automatically into the Prize Draw (“Offer”).
7. An additional entry into the Prize Draw is automatic every time an eligible purchase (which is any purchase excluding cash advances, balance transfers, fees, interest charges or quasi-cash transactions) is made with Q Mastercard within the first 31 calendar days of account opening date (“first month”). The transaction date and time is determined by when the merchant processes the purchase and is outside of the Promoters control and may affect eligibility.
8. Offer includes any new accounts created in line with Long Term Finance purchases (including Flexi Pay purchases) and Fixed Instalments. Eligible spend during the Spend Back Period is limited to standard purchases and Long-Term Finance, and excludes cash advances, balance transfers, interest charges, gambling, crypto and quasi-cash transactions.
9. If a Prize Draw winner is deemed ineligible for any reasons, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a replacement Prize Draw winner.
10. The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.
11. To be eligible for a Prize, an account must not be in arrears at the time the Prize Draw takes place.
12. One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries from the Prize Draw Period.
13. The Prize Draw will take place at 111 Carlton Gore Rd, Newmarket, Auckland on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
14. The Prize Draw winners will be notified via phone or email by Friday 22 May 2026. If a Prize Draw winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, Promoter reserves the right to re-draw an alternative Prize winner.
15. Acceptance of the Prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the Prize Draw winners’ details, first name and photograph, for promotional and media purposes. The Promoter collects and processes personal information in order to run the promotion and offer the Prize and as otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy.
16. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
17. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any failure (for whatever reason) to record an entry into the Prize Draw.
18. Entry into the Prize Draw and/or accepting the Prize is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
19. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for any tax implications that may arise from winning the prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury whatsoever, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with a prize or this Prize Draw.
21. Where goods or services are supplied by third parties, the Promoter does not warrant the quality of such goods and/or services or their suitability. However, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
22. Employees of the Promoter and/or Humm Group Limited are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
