COVID-19 Alert Level 2 Update


Playing it safe

As we move to Alert Level 2 on Thursday, 14th of May our Hot Spring Spa showrooms will be opening their doors to New Zealand. We say thank you for your continued patience and support during this time.

With more freedom for movement at Alert Level 2, it's our responsibility to keep our customers and team members safe in our showrooms to reduce risk of transmission of Covid-19.

In conjunction with the Ministry of Health Guidelines under Alert Level 2 and playing it safe, Ford Hot Spring Spas will be implementing the following safety measures in our showroom to ensure the safety of our team members and customers.

What to expect when visiting our Hot Spring showroom? 

  • Upon entering our showrooms, customers must sign our contact tracing register, hand sanitise and follow way in and way out.
  • Social distancing will remain a priority and the Salesperson and customer must remain 1 metre apart from each other at all times. There will be markings on the floor to indicate this distancing across all our Hot Spring showrooms.
  • Sales professionals will disinfect all eftpos machines before and after every transaction as well as all furniture customers have come in contact with. 

Delivery Information for customers 
On delivery of your spa pool please follow our guidelines below:

  • Please keep 2m away from staff at all times.
  • Please do not touch the spa pool until it has been cleaned prior to filling.
  • Please make sure the access route to the spa site is free of all obstacles and you have reviewed the following video


What does  Alert level 3 mean for Ford Hot Spring Spas? 

Here is what we can do:

  • Sell spas online via chat, phone or email, video call etc.
  • Deliver spas to site following our Safety Policy above.
  • Perform Electrical Service work and repairs
  • Despatch online sales via courier
  • leave online or phone orders outside the shop for customer pick up.
What we are unable to do:
  • Open the showroom to the public.
  • Come face to face on site

Spas On Sale

We have spas arriving this week and many sitting in containers.  There are some very good deals on offer while we have 2019 stock so get in early or a great deal particularly on HotSpot Spas with the new 2020 models arriving shortly.

Hot Spring® Spas NZ Ltd in partnership with Watkins Wellness® operates the brands Hot Spring® Spas in New Zealand and AustraliaEndless Pools® Fitness SystemsFastlane Pools® Fitness Systems and Spa Pools Online, with six retail showrooms across New Zealand and over 20 Hot Spring® spa dealerships throughout New Zealand and Australia.

Due to the recent government restrictions within the USA and New Zealand our Hot Spring Spa showrooms, Auckland Warehouse Distribution Center, Hot Spring dealerships within New Zealand will be temporarily closed during the Level 4 -COVID-19 restriction period, or until further notice. 

It is important more than ever, that we live up to our core-purpose of Every Day Made Better® by making our team available to support our customers remotely while continuing to deliver the Absolute Best Spa Pool Ownership Experience™ via these channels:

If you require information on any of our Hot Spring spa pools or Endless Pools® products, you can chat directly with one of our friendly spa professionals via the chat button on the bottom right of our website.

Phone Assistance

Alternatively, please call 0800 446 877 to speak directly with one of our friendly kiwi-based team members Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.

In the last several days we have received unprecedented demand for essential spa pool care products to treat spa pool water effectively. It is for this reason, we have disabled online ordering.  When courier service allows we will re-open online ordering.

Hot Spring Service Bookings

Please call Rob on 0211360346 if you have any questions about your spa pool that may be fixed over the phone.  Please check how clean your filters are in all cases as this is a very common remedy to many spa related problems. If you want to book a service call out when we re-open please book here 

What you need to know about Chlorine and COVID-19?

Furthermore, we understand Hot Spring customers may be concerned using their spa pool or swim spa during this time.

At Hot Spring Spas, water hygiene and our customers' health and well being has always been most important to us. It is for this reason Hot Spring Spas are designed and manufactured with the highest and strictest quality standards in New Zealand and Australia with ISO 9001 certification.

We encourage Hot Spring Spa customers to continue regular and adequate spa pool sanitisation (with chlorine or bromine) to balance their pH levels in their spa pool or swim spa.
